Ice Drift - an arcade catching game set on a frozen lake, where a wicker basket slides left and right along the bottom of the field and follows the finger as it drags across the ice. Golden fish fall from the top of the field, and each fish that lands in the basket adds one point to the score shown in the frame at the top of the game view. Spiked black mines fall among the fish, and a mine that drops into the basket takes away one life, while a fish that slips past the basket also costs a life. A run starts with three lives, and the fall speed keeps rising as the run goes on, so fish and mines arrive faster and more often with every passing second. When the last life is gone, the final panel shows the score of the run and the best result, with buttons to restart at once or return to the menu. Points from each run go to a shared balance used in the shop for four upgrades: extra lives at the start, a wider basket, a slower starting fall speed and a shield that absorbs mine hits, and each upgrade has three levels with a price that grows from level to level. A pause button in the corner freezes the run and opens resume, restart and menu buttons. The settings panel holds vibration and effects switches, three difficulty modes that change the fall speed and the pace of new objects, a best result display with a reset button and a full progress reset. The best result, the upgrade levels, the shop balance and all settings are kept after the app is closed, and a guide panel in the menu describes the rules in a few short lines.
